Safaribee uses modern beehive equipment where the honeycomb is built on a frame that can be handled without compromising the structure and integrity of the honeycomb. Taking it a step further towards the point of extraction, honey built on frames from the modern beehive we use can be extracted by removing only the cap that closes the surface of the honeycomb, and then extracting the liquid honey only by method of centrifugal spinning. From here the honey is filtered and allowed time to settle. A technique of gravity filtration is used toclear the honey of any remaining wax chunks, propolis, pollen, hive debris and air bubbles. Once settled, honey is taped out of the filtration unit and poured into glass jars, ready to be packaged and distributed.
